Guide to Men's Quarantine Hair Cuts At Home

Desperate times call for desperate measures. If this Pandemic has proven anything, it's that we have lots of love for our barber's & hair stylists! I'm pretty lucky that this Pause is really not having an affect on my hair. Sure, I wanted to get it dyed this Spring with some sassy blonde highlights, but the world isn't ending for me. I have long, straight hair. A few more months of my hair growing out isn't a big deal. But to most men or women with shorter styled hair, this is proving to be a tough time!

A friend of mine asked for some help cutting his hair. I can honestly say I have never done anything like that in my life. I told him if he was that desperate & promised not to be mad if it came out terrible, then yeah, I would do it. It was decided that if it did come out botched, he could always just shave his head. Not ideal, but it is what it is. Let's just say... that was an interesting experiment. I like to think that as I went on, it got better. We decided that I wasn't going to touch anything on top & just focus on trimming the sides. Every time I would get into a groove, something would happen & I'd take out another chunk of hair. So then we'd have to go shorter to even it out. All in all... it was... okay.

What about you? Have you had to give or receive an at home hair cut since quarantine? I wish I had found these guides prior to the clippers finding their way into my hands. Shoot, I wish I had even thought to google something! But here are 15 guides for how to give a man a haircut at home.
