Fighter Jet Intercepts Small Plane Near Trump Golf Course

The Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command was forced to scramble an F-16 fighter jet after a small plane crossed into restricted airspace over Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, where President Donald Trump is spending the weekend.

Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command issued a statement saying the small aircraft entered the temporarily restricted airspace "without proper clearances or communications." The F-16 intercepted the small plane and escorted it to a nearby airport, where the pilot was met by law enforcement without incident.

President Trump arrived in New Jersey on Friday afternoon and will head back to Washington D.C. on Sunday.
