Tyler Hubbard is gearing up to debut his solo work, and the wave of new music will include a sweet song that’s clearly his daughter’s favorite. Hubbard shared on his Instagram story that he made it home from a trip to Denver at 2:30 a.m. so he could make it to “daddy’s and doughnuts” and Liv’s school this morning (which was “so worth it”).

Hubbard drove Liv to school with “Friends In Low Places” by Garth Brooks blasting from the speakers, singing along to every word as Liv smiles in the back seat. But after that, the song changed because, Hubbard explained, Liv wanted to hear “her song.” The next few slides of his Instagram story play a snippet of the upbeat track as his daughter flashes a big grin. Hubbard caption his stories, “I will tell her this forever,” and “You’re so beautiful….Inside and out.

He revealed on his story: “For those who are asking… that last song is called ‘inside and out.’ Yes, it’s a new song. No, it’s not out yet. Yes, it will be out eventually and I’m excited for the world to hear it and learn every word like Liv has. :)”

The Florida Georgia Line singer is a few days away from releasing his own new single, “5 Foot 9.” He shared last week: “Excited to share my first single drops next Friday, 5/20. Pre-save ‘5 Foot 9’ to hear it FIRST. Can’t wait to hear what y’all think.”

Hubbard has already proven that he’s ultimate “girl dad” goals. Earlier this year, he shared a heartwarming message to Liv after a father-daughter date night: “Being a dad to a daughter has to be one of the biggest honors of my life. Watching her grow up and seeing the world through such kind, loving, empathetic eyes, truly makes me want to be a better father, husband, and friend. I love this girl with all my heart. Here’s to many more daddy daughter date nights.”

The feeling is mutual… Hubbard also shared that Liv avoids her bedtime in the cutest way. She begs to tell Hubbard “that he’s the best dad ever and that I love being his daughter.” She also says “give him a kiss and a hug for me,” and “tell him I love him.”
