In just a few weeks, a new class of college graduates will be finished with school and entering the job market, and it seems there’s some good news for them.
A new Robert Hall poll of senior managers finds that 83% say they are likely to hire recent college graduates, with 41% saying they're very likely and 42% saying they are somewhat likely. As for why these managers are interested in the class of 2019, 35% say it’s because of their enthusiasm, while 28% like their fresh perspectives and ideas.Other reasons include:
- They learn quickly and are easy to train (18%)
- They have strong technical skills and are digital natives (16%)
As for where these new college graduates are most likely to find jobs, Miami is the city where companies are most likely to be hiring kids right out of school, followed by Raleigh, North Carolina.
