It looks like Disney Plus is officially adding an ad-supported tier later this year, but if you want to pay a cheaper price for the streaming service then just get ready for a TON of ads!

The new tier will reportedly run ads for four minutes on any movie or show you watch that lasts an hour or less and as of right now there's no word on how these ads will integrate into shows like Loki and The Mandalorian which really don't have cuts for ad breaks like traditional shows.

Apparently, the ads will also aim to be more family-friendly so you won't see the same ads for alcohol or adult themes if you do switch to the tier. Also Disney Plus will not include ads on any show if you are using a kid's profile, which might be a workaround if you do switch to the ad tier.

There's no word on pricing just yet, but would you switch to the ad tier two years into having Disney Plus or would you justify the extra cost?
