TMSG: Family Reunited With Dog After She Went Missing 3 Years Prior

The George family from Wyoming went on a business trip to Burlington, Iowa in August 2015. They brought along their family dog, Ginger, to stay with them in a rental home. While they were there, Ginger escaped and despite staying behind for days looking for her + community help, they came up with no luck.

Fast forward 3 years later, The Des Moines County Humane Society started getting calls about a dog that was thought to be dead. After setting up a trap, the humane society captured the red heeler.

The dog they trapped was Ginger. She survived 3 years living in the woods while also digging out water and food from a local car wash. Thanks to the local humane society, the family and Ginger were reunited after a veterinary visit revealed she was in relatively good health.

This is absolutely a "Tell Me Something Good" worthy story. All the feels. Never give up on anything and always keep the faith!
