Well, it's been a week since Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood took over the Capital Region & performed 3 nights at the Times Union Center, and I'm STILL on my Garth high!
I've been pretty blessed in my career to have met some pretty amazing people... from artists, to clients, to some of the best listeners a girl could ever ask for. But as far as artists go, Garth & Trisha were two of the most down to Earth people I've ever met. You can just tell how grateful they are for their fans, and they know they wouldn't be where they are without them, & without their family. I still choke up just thinking about the times I saw Garth tear up during his Press Conference, standing just 5 feet in front of me.
I won't lie... I was pretty nervous during the interview! I only had a minute or two with each of them, but I'm so glad I had the opportunity to ask a few questions. What's it like being back on the road after 20 years? Could a powerful women in Country music collab happen? How are Garth's skills in the kitchen?
