I know what you're thinking... Pumpkin Pie is a little out of season right now. But hear me out! This pumpkin pie recipe allows you to use your grill versus turning on the oven. Which is pretty perfect with the heat we've had lately.
I also felt the need to share it because my friends & I were talking & we thought it would be fun to host a "Friendsgiving"... kinda like Thanksgiving, but with the family you choose. However - we just thought about it now. Not over the fall or winter. And it looks like we'll be enjoying a full turkey dinner over Memorial Day weekend. Talk about a picnic! A bonus on this recipe? The house will be hot enough with the Turkey & all the other food cooking, but this recipe can be made on your grill. That makes it a perfect dessert for your regular Memorial Day picnics, too!
You just can't have a Thanksgiving dinner without Pumpkin Pie... and since my friends are a good time, you KNOW there will be Fireball on hand. What a perfect opportunity to combine the two!
- Frozen Pie Crusts (or make your own)
- Pure Pumpkin
- Evaporated Milk
- Ground Ginger
- Ground Cloves
- Fireball Whiskey
- Whipped Cream (for serving)
