Yesterday, we were hit with a snowstorm here in the Capital Region. And the ride home had us faced with sleet. This morning was slick. Schools were on delay. And I even caught some more snow flurries late in the morning while I gazed out the window during a meeting that I was obviously paying a ton of attention in. Winter. Ugh.
SouthPaw from the Tri-City ValleyCats has hit us with some good news though! While the 'Cats Pitchers & Catchers have reported for Spring Training, they aren't the only ones who need to get in shape for the upcoming Baseball season this June. SouthPaw has been hard at work at "The Joe", making sure he's in tip-top shape to entertain fans this Summer. His workout routines include the classics like jumping jacks, arm circles & stair climbs, as well as some more specialized skills required for the upcoming season. Watch the video to see what I'm talking about...
My favorite is when he practices tossing out ValleyCat swag & when he works on his Sugarhill Gang "Jump On It" dance skills. Always good for a laugh, AND totally makes me think of those gorgeous Summer nights spent at "The Joe". Don't worry... we're just 35 days away from Spring and 128 days from Summer. The Tri-City ValleyCats Home Opener is just 123 days away.
Here's my dog Gunnar & I with SouthPaw at one of our favorite nights of the season, Bark in the Park. Cats & Dogs CAN get along!
