Albany County

 

Essex County

Food vendors and rides will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., except on Sunday when they will stay open an additional half hour. On the Fourth of July, there will be a hot dog eating contest at 12:30 p.m A parade at 2 p.mLive music acts from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the celebration will culminate in a fireworks show starting at 9:45 p.m. 

Franklin County

  • Independence Day in Tupper Lake, 
    • WHEN: Starting at 6 p.m. July 4 
    • WHERE: 17-19 Demars Blvd., Tupper Lake 
    • MORE INFO: Website. Franklin County, Tupper Lake will host its annual Independence Day celebration on Sunday, July 4, at the Tupper Lake Municipal Park. Live music by the Spring Street Band will start at 7 p.m. and the fireworks display will light up the sky at dusk. Visitors will be able to park for free at the park. 

Greene County

  • Village of Coxsackie Fireworks Display 
    • WHEN: Fireworks begin at 9 or 9:15 p.m. July 3 
    • WHERE: Coxsackie-Athens High School, 24 Sunset Blvd., Coxsackie Cost: Free
    • MORE INFO: Facebook | 518-731-2718. The Village of Coxsackie will host a fireworks display at the high school by the baseball field. Parking will be available in school parking lots and the surrounding area. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
  • STYX Tribute Band Performance and Fireworks 
    • WHEN: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. July 3 
    • WHERE: Nussy's Bier Garten at Riedlbauer's Resort, 57 Ravine Drive, Round Top

    • MORE INFO: The STYX Tribute Band, Return to Paradise, will perform a concert and the show will be followed by fireworks. There will be food and drinks available to purchase. 
  • East Durham’s 4th of July Parade & Fireworks
    • WHEN: Starting at 11 a.m. July 3. Fireworks are expected to begin between 9 to 9:15 p.m. 
    • WHERE: 175 Brown Road, East Durham

    • MORE INFO: There will be a parade that begins on Route 145 at 11 a.m. and ends at the Michael J. Quill Irish Culture Center where there will be a free give-away ice cream, hot dogs and soda. Plus a fireworks show will begin at dusk.

    • MORE INFO: The parade from Shenendehowa Campus to Clifton Common at noon Sunday, July 4, will kick off of the celebration. Supervisor Phil Barrett will officially open the event at 1:30 p.m. at the Clifton Common after the parade. Live music begins at 5 p.m. with Sirsy, followed by Ten Most Wanted from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. When:Noon to 9:30 p.m. July 4. Fireworks are expected to begin at 9:15 p.m

    • WHERE: Hurst Harbor Center, 1 Tugboat Alley, Waterford

  • Hague Independence Day Fireworks

    • MORE INFO: When you visit the Great Escape during Fourth of July weekend, you’ll get to enjoy an evening fireworks show in addition to the thrill rides, rollercoasters and waterpark attractions usually included in admission. 
  • Lake George, NY: 4th of July Fireworks at Shepard Park 
    • WHEN: Monday July 4th, 2022 at 9:30 PM 
    • WHERE: Shepard Park & Lake George Village Waterfront, Canada Street & Beach Road Lake George, NY 12845 
    • COST: FREE ADMISSION
    • MORE INFO: The Village of Lake George puts on a July 4th fireworks display that can be viewed all along the waterfront. Time is approximate, they will go off immediately following sundown. It's recommended to arrive prior to 7pm to find a legal parking spot, and to wait at least one hour to exit the Village after the show. There are only two ways in and out of the Village: one north on Route 9 and one south on Route 9. Both are impacted by traffic signals and create long delays after every show. 

 

Washington County

  • Fourth of July Fireworks at Washington County Fairgrounds 
    • WHEN: 5:30 p.m. to dusk July 4. Fireworks are expected to start at 9 p.m. 
    • WHERE: Washington County Fairgrounds, 392 Old Schuylerville Road, Greenwich
    • COST: FREE ADMISSION 
    • MORE INFO: Website | 518-692-2464 - Celebrate Independence Day with food trucks and fireworks sponsored by the Fort Miller Group and The Washington County Fairgrounds. Fireworks viewers should drive through the entrance to the fairgrounds at Route 29 and park in the lot. Event organizers encourage attendees to bring blankets and chairs.
